FAFSA RESOURCES

en español
In order to receive the Promise Scholarship, each year you will have to complete your FAFSA. Here is key information about college financial aid and the FAFSA.

Click HERE for a video overview of the process.

Complete your FAFSA as soon as possible on or after Oct. 1st at the official government site: fafsa.gov.

The deadline for submitting is February 15th for priority consideration for financial aid, but we highly recommend you submit it earlier. The earlier you submit your FAFSA, the more financial aid you may receive.  Click HERE for all federal and state deadlines.

Click HERE to better understand types of aid.

Once you submit your FAFSA, within a week or so,  you will get your Student Aid Report (SAR). Look over your SAR carefully to make sure you didn’t make a mistake on your FAFSA form.

FAFSA-Verification is the process your school uses to confirm that the data reported on your FAFSA form is accurate. If you're selected for verification, your school will request additional documentation that supports the information you reported.
